Bed bugs (Cimex lectularius) are a real scourge. Completely eradicated in the 1950s, they began to reappear in the 1990s. Since 2010, the number of infestations has skyrocketed. Bed bugs feed on blood and are active at night. They stay as close as possible to where people remain immobile for long periods, such as in baseboards, parquet floors, behind paintings, in mattress slats, headboards, etc. A bed bug problem should not be taken lightly, and due to their rapid reproduction, it requires prompt treatment.
